Give someone the pleasure of making their own original tree prints by hand. This £55 gift voucher is for one person to enjoy a 2.5-hour tree-printing workshop with Shona Branigan at the Old Laundry Studio, Grizedale Forest.
Working from prepared tree rounds, your recipient will learn to transfer the grain and detail of the wood onto paper by hand-burnishing with a bone folder. No printing press is involved, just the quiet satisfaction of making something by hand.
All materials are provided, with step-by-step guidance. No previous experience is needed. Suitable for ages 16 and over; manual dexterity is needed to use the bone folder.
Arranging a session: The recipient should contact Shona with the purchase order number to arrange an available workshop date. Booking is subject to availability; purchasing this voucher does not reserve a particular date.
Location: The Old Laundry Studio, behind Cafe Ambio, Grizedale Forest Visitor Centre.
This is a workshop-session voucher, not a monetary gift card or an automatic checkout discount code.
